In the UK games like COD, GTA, TLOU, Halo keep their value for many months.
Otherwise, games can be nearly 40% within weeks of release.

Most games for $60-$40 within the first 4-6 months. Not sure about launch game on a system that is in for a game drought. Ubisoft titles usually hit $20 within months.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Not counting sale prices, most games are $20 in less than a year. The games that hold their value will still see good sales now and then.
I don't know, about six minutes? It seems like games drop hugely in price almost immediately after launch hype has died down. I've never understood people who buy at launch.
