Just a note before you read, X and Y are used to represent different consoles, not the new Pokemon games (god damn you, Nintendo ).  Proceed.

I've just noticed something in the past few weeks that annoys the heck out of me, and just wanted to get your guys' feedback about it.  Lately, I have noticed an uptick in the amount of people saying, "why are you on this site talking about X, when you should be playing Y", while completely ignoring the fact they are this site talking about Y and not playing X.  I have noticed this more from the Xbox fanbase of late, mostly following the PS4's launch, but I have also seen it before from all sides.

Another thing that annoys me to no end is when people are discussing sales, especially when comparing them with another console, and someone comes along and asks why they care so much or states that no one cares.  This is probably even more irritating, since we are ALL ON A FREAKING SALES SITE.

So, does this annoy anyone?  Or is it just me?

Stop complaining and go play games, unless your precious PS4 doesn't have any ROFL!!!!

Pretty annoying.

I do indeed hate it when people say things that try to negate the sales factor of the video game industry. This website is called "VGChartz" because we discuss things that have to do with sales charts.

Because x is the better game. It even sold better than y.

Actually, it doesn't.  Cause I don't have one quite yet.

Anyway, I've noticed it a bit. Most of it is just fanboys though, and quite honestly, I'm more annoyed with the console arguments than game arguments at this point.

Once we get past the first couple of months or so of console releases, it'll probably switch back to that.

Are you PC only, though?  Not that it matters, if gaming is your passion.  The only thing that I dislike about some PC gamers, is the need to bring up that they are more powerful in EVERY thread about graphics comparisons between the PS4 and One.  And not just a quick funny comment, but serious ones.  I think most people realize they are if you have a good rig.
