Forums - General - I watched legend of Korra Season 1, for people who watched Season 2, is it worth viewing?

Season 1 spoilerS!!!

Just wondering, I defiantly enjoyed the first season, but that ending was just bad, I cant be the only one who thinks this. Korra got her powers back instantly for no real explanantion other than Aang coming out and touching her forhead, Korra says I love you even though he clearly has a girlfriend(dick move), they made the bad  guy so bad ass and untouchable throughout the season and the avatar defeats him like it was nothing, ect... Just a poor poor ending in my opinion and it seemed rushed as hell. Is the second season anything like this? Is it better than the first season?

Around the Network

Second season was a roller-coaster in terms of quality, but I will say that beginnings part 1 and 2 are possibly the best things I have every seen created by western animation.

Hell no. Season 2 was awful and that is coming from a huge Avatar fan. The main villain was stupid and predictable, they had another idiotic love triangle plot, and the season ends with Deus Ex Machina, again. Characters like Lynn and Asami were completely underutilized, Bolin ended up getting most of the screen time with a boring film career subplot. Mako is still a douche, and Korra acts like a complete brat for most of the season.

Like the poster above me said, The 2 part Beginnings episode was great and the only thing I recommend about this season.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I'd recommend watching it. As stated above episode quality varied, but the good thing about having all of the episodes available is you won't be as let down by an individual stinker as you don't need to wait a week for the next one.

I second this. Watch it, if only for the beginnings episodes. Some of the animation is quite nice as well, so if you're a fan of those fancy bending styles, I say you give it a watch

.Glad to see I wasn't the only one let down by season 1's ending. I also feel the need to add that Korra being able to return peoples bending in this case didn't make much sense. Amon used bloodbending to remove a bodies ability to bend(physical) whereas the avatar uses a more spiritual method I donts see why one should work on the other.d. It would've made more sense for Katara to haved discovered a way to undo Amons work.

Also, Korra bends air like a fire bender. Just saying.
