what did the day one edition actually contain? and whats with the day one stickers on the early box covers?

Yeah it's weird, I see newegg offering sometimes special deals through ebay too. It kinda makes you wonder whats the point since newegg is you know, a gigantic online store by trade.

 

793 units, that's almost 1k, enough to make an actual blip in NPD.

I think ms just very recently opened their ebay store.  Like not one week ago.  

Also, is it cheaper for companies to sell their items on ebay rather than have retailers take their products and sell them?  Just curious..

But Microsoft already has it's own mail order store, microsoftstore.com

Basically it's like if Amazon had an ebay store.

 

It seems companies kind of offer "warehouse" deals on ebay. But I'm still not sure why. Seems it'd be better to draw traffic to your own website.

this.... most company I worked for had an ebay and some an alibaba store even if they had their own ordering page.... ebay is a one stop shop for a lot of online shoppers... especially the one with not a lot of practice or knowledge...
