My store didnt take pre-orders, they were just gonna sell them 9 in the morning. I arrived there at midnight, 70 people already in line! o_O As opening hour arrived the line behind us grew to 3-400 people, it was crazy, the store only had 300 PS4s to sell so a lot of people went home disappointed. Imagine 100s of people waiting 7-8 hours to get a console...

No one seemed to care about WiiU or Xbone when someone tried to talk about those. Hype is crazy, even police folks talk about the PS4.  Sony has created a cultural phenomenon and no one is gonna stop this train!

I think in this country its over  for WiiU and Xbone, PS4 will have 80 percent marketshare atleast.

Hardline Sony fans waiting in line to buy PS4 on launch day. Amazingly enough they have no interest in WiiU and Xbox One. Who knew.

Europe <3 PlayStation. Simple as. If PS4 did well in the USA, it will post obscene numbers in Europe. Interesting to see which way the UK leans - MS territory last gen but to be honest, going into a new gen I'm not sure it counts for much.

Bloody hell, if that's UK only then the EU sales will be insane, especially when the implication is that even with so many, there will be still be shortages. I'm getting more and more excited for the numbers!

The same was about Wii U time last year for example. Like every launch of a console.
