All you people keep forgetting that the Wii U had just as good a launch as the XB1 and PS4, but because you see the PS4 with over 1M sales on launch day you compare it with the Wii U post launch sales of November the following year of its launch. Come week 2 of the PS4 and XB1 life cyc.le and those numbers will be well down. You try to make projections and predictions to satisfy your fanboy needs, but you can't see what's coming round the corner. And that's a big fat drop in sales fpr PS4 and XB1. I've had a Wii U since day 1, and up until I pre-ordered a PS4 I was gaming exclusively on Nintendo systems. I reckon all 3 systems will have similar sales by this gen's end, (I hope to get an XB1 at some future date aswell). I'm sick of the daily bullsh*t spouted on the internet (and especially VGChartz) that this system is going to sell way more than this one based on 1 week data and wild predictions. You'll be laughing on the other side of your faces when you see a different picture emerge, and mark my words the picture will change.

We know sales go down after the initial launch period, duh guy... But to 30K a week, not happening for the PS4 at least. I promise you, the PS4 will not strugle to sell like the WiiU is where people are talking about willing the console and analysts talking about it selling 40-50m units life time.

PS4 and XBox One should easily over take the Wii Us worldwide sales before the end of April 2014. PS4 will overtake the Wii U's worldwide sales during February and the XBox One can climb up to second place during April 2014. The XBox One and PS4 should sell very weel for the next few few months as a result of their launch and holiday sales boosts. Wii U has sold only 4 million systems after 12 months, 1.5 million down on the XBox 360s' first year sales and 2.5 million down on the PS3s first year sales.

I do wonder how 2014 will turn out.

I think it's fairly likely Wii U will be beaten this holiday by the GameCube's 2002 holiday (its equivalent 2nd Nov/Dec period).

Nintendo may want to get the thing tracking above the GameCube before worrying about what Sony/MS are doing.
