8.8 is way too high in my opinion, you're not leaving much room for improvement. Even a moderate step up from this game would be near perfection then, and that's not right. I'd say more like 7.0 or 7.5, and apparently that's still above the metascore. The graphics are very nice though.

Wonder if the results would be the same if they had aimed for 1280x1080(like gta v) instead of 1600x900.

Nice review. I know most of the posters in the thread are people who will never play the game and will just give you a hard time, but seems like you legitimately enjoy it.

But it does have multiplayer...

After seeing the negative reviews and watching my cousin play it I would have put the game as a 6.5/10 average like most here are but after actually playing it I can say I'm honestly really enjoying it. So far I'd put it close to an 8/10.

I guess the moral of this story is don't judge a book by it's cover and actually check it out for yourself to see if it works for you before you knock it.
