Let's hope. It would be great to have a 2014 full of their main IP's and 2015 full of new ones (plus the forgotten ones, like star fox).

True, but original tends to lean to new IP and Nintendo has a great track record with new IPs. So for now, I'll be excited thank you very much.

I think they would have to combine them. Make a mix of the two. Just old ip's one year and just new the other doesn't work as great as two years with some old and some new.

Considering that Shigeru Miyamoto announced a "brand new original" game in January 2012 and we are no closer to knowing what it is, it could be a couple years before we know anything more about this one.
