When the 8th gen is complete, then it will be fair to make a statement like, "Tbh this gen is not as great of a leap as last gen."

Lol, my thoughts exactly, really don't care about graphics after a certain point. As long as the game looks any good, as in not ugly, from that point onwards i only care about the gameplay. I know graphics sell but everyone should try not to be a graphics whore, it doesn't help the industry in any way imo.

PC gamers never really take into considerion buying all the parts.
I remember a discussion a few months back where a PC gamer made the claim they can build something equal to the PS4 and X1 for about $300 - $400. It didn't end well. But I'd like to see fighter attempt that.

Let's start with what you don't understand from this :

consider that with inflation it should have been 650-850"

Once again, that wasn't what I quoted in my original response. I quoted, "Tbh this gen is not as great of a leap as last gen."
Now build a computer for 300 - 400 that's equal or better than PS4.

when i say machines i mean of course consoles, you chose to understand games, and once i was banned, PCs
both 360 and PS3
which cost twice to produce the cost of PS4 and X
anyway, congratz for your hypocrisy
I agree. Nothing prepared me for the first time I played Ryse. The visuals are a different league to last gen.
