Wasn't the reference in the movie from when they where smaller during Act 2 or 1?

During the final battle, she looked bigger then Godzilla to me. I guess I should re-watch that final battle.

They only referenced the height differences between the male and the female monsters, not with godzilla. There's a few shots were godzilla does look smaller than her, but it was because of perspective. On the final battle, when he's grabbing her before her execution you can see he's actually taller.

That would probably be the most unbalanced fight in the history of Kaijus confrontations (even though there's already a KK vs Godzilla movie).

On canon height measures alone, Godzilla would probably use King Kong as a disposable toothpick a couple of seconds in the fight.

The most recent ones, King Kong 2005 and Godzilla 2014. King Kong is 24 feet tall (which is the actual height of the original 1933 King Kong), Godzilla is 355. Godzilla's palm is bigger than King Kong .

Even the biggest incarnation of King Kong, the 1962's King Kong vs Godzilla from Toho, is only 148 feet tall. It could probably compete with 1998's Godzilla (or Zilla as it's most commonly known), since that incarnation of Godzilla was only 164 feet tall. But taking in account that Toho updated her height to 295 feet tall for Final Wars, then that would also be a non match up as well. 

Though the idea is actually good. I would love to see a massive King Kong (+300 feet tall) as well, solo or taking on Godzilla or other kaijus.
