VGChartz really needs a Mobile version

Anyways, what kind of iPhone do you use?

I'm guessing it's an oldie, LOL.

I saw Godzilla in 3D and thought it was a waste of money cause 3D tickets are 50% more expensive here than for a 2D movie. The movie was alright. I'd give it a 3/5. The Lego movie is still my favorite movie this year.

In America, a 2D movie cost $5 to $12 depending in the theater. And there is an additional $1 to $4 for 3D, once again depending on which cinema you go to.

With a Student Discount plus seeing a movie before 6pm on weekdays for a Mantinee discount, you can pay as little as $6 for 3D and $6.50¢ for 3D IMAX, at a expensive theater. The cinema I go to, gives Mantinee Discounts 7 days a week & Student Discounts 7 days a week. Some theaters give Student Discounts 0 to 1 day a week.

The Theater I go to has $6 Wednesdays for 3D Premium Large Format (3D IMAX experience).

Godzilla 3D review (3D IMAX/3D Premium Large Format):

I did not see this in 2D nor 3D nor Digital 3D nor Real D 3D nor 3D IMAX. I saw it in 3D Premium Large Format (specifically; 3D XTREME).

The 3D effect was better then the trailers 3D effect, including during the same exact scenes.

The movie was recorded in 2D and converted into 3D by "Stereo D". Thank goodness it wasn't "Legend 3D" who did the conversion. Anyways, it was obvious that the movie was recorded in 2D during the first 1/3 of the movie, because of all the different scenes in the movie where the background & foreground were blurry.

No one laughed at the scene when the Japanese character (probably played by a Chinese guy, LOL) said Godzilla, but it was a serious moment and it was necessary to have some say Godzilla like that at least one time in this reboot.

The antagonist looked cool, especially when mature into a full adult with his wings and all.

The human element was more important in this Godzilla movie, then it probably ever has been in any Godzilla movie ever. Plus one human laid waste and killed an army of monsters single handedly, while Godzilla's punk-ass was having a hard enough time with just 2 monsters who were bitch slapping the hell out of him. Godzilla wouldn't have known about the army of parasites until it was too late and they were to be all grown up, which would have guarantee Godzilla's death. Plus the first 2 parasites could have infected Godzilla with babies to kill him from the inside. And in real life the military would have still gotten involve trying to blow them all up with a big nuclear explosion that would only give them something to feed on.

Godzilla is a natural creature like humans and dinosaurs, but from a time millions of years ago where the planet had too much radiation naturally in its atmosphere making such species evolve into existence.

The parasites were a great antagonist to make a unfamiliar enemy that Godzilla could have a better chance loosing to. The female M.U.T.O. was more bigger then Godzilla, looking down on him like a child, while the male M.U.T.O. was great swift flying beast to give Godzilla a hard time in the other way.

The male Godzilla was definitely the best way to go about a 3D Godzilla movie, because of his senseless/mindless destruction. While the female Godzilla (1998 Godzilla) is definitely the best way to go about a 2D Godzilla movie, with her stealth and all.

that last death in the movie surprised me, and then there was that plot twist at the very end of the movie before the credits rolled.

The only thing the director did was tweak the teleplay of the already finish script, so he could direct this movie at the fullest of his personal great way of directing.

People who saw this movie in 2D, complain about the final fight scene.

I would recommend only seeing Godzilla 3D in 3D only, or don't pay for the movie at all.

The IMAX/Premium Large Format; audio is the best way to experience the Audio in this movie.

I guess I wouldn't rate this movie any lower then 8.4 out of 10, at the lowest rating.

That's pretty cheap. In Canada its a bit more expensive where I go to.

I'm not in Canada right now though. Here in Dubai, a 2D ticket costs $8 and a 3D costs $13.

Just one correction Kaizar. Both creatures are smaller than this version of Godzilla, since he towers at 355 Feet when he's fully upright, while the biggest creature, the female one, has a maximum height of 300 Feet, making it slightly smaller than Godzilla.

Wasn't the reference in the movie from when they where smaller during Act 2 or 1?

During the final battle, she looked bigger then Godzilla to me. I guess I should re-watch that final battle.
