I've updated the 1st OP and properly place the release date of "Iceman 3D" (Chinese Film), which is a remake of "The Iceman Cometh" to "April 25, 2014".
Anyways, if you've seen; "Iceman" (Chinese Film), then please post.
Thanks, and HAPPY NEW YEAR OF 3D !!!
Does anyone else think that "Interstellar" will be converted into 3D due to either Paramount or Warner Bros. or maybe even due to Legendary?
I think it's a 50/50 shot.

I think it won't need 3D. The movie is being shot in IMAX format(I guess most of the shots) and that in itself is better than 3D. Of course it would even be phenomenal if it's in 3D and in true IMAX. That would be just surreal to experience.

Well, 3D does more for image quality, then IMAX (8K HD) does. For example; Clarity & anti-aliasing & vividness & so fort.
Plus Guillermo Del Toro didn't want Pacific Rim in 3D, but the Studio seems to have more power then producers & directors.
FYI Guillermo Del Toro now loves 3D, and so does J.J. Abrams & the director of Need for Speed.
Here's 411 on "Edge of Tomorrow" (All You Need is Kill):
Edge of Tomorrow is an upcoming American science fiction film starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The film is directed by Doug Liman. It is based on the Japanese light novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. Rights to the novel were bought in late 2009, and a spec script was sold to the American studio Warner Bros. for production. The studio co-produced the film with Village Roadshow. Filming began in late 2012 and took place mainly at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden outside London. Trafalgar Square in London was also a filming location for some action scenes. The film will be released in theaters in the United Kingdom on May 30, 2014 and in the United States and Canada on June 6, 2014.
Godzilla was good. Few questionable things in it but if you judge a Godzilla film by holding it up next to say Gravity, you are going to see Godzilla for the wrong reasons. It's was a good film, worth seeing for the fight scenes.
I'll be seeing X-men thursday, will let you all know about it Friday.
Hmm, pie.
I saw Godzilla in 3D and thought it was a waste of money cause 3D tickets are 50% more expensive here than for a 2D movie. The movie was alright. I'd give it a 3/5. The Lego movie is still my favorite movie this year.
It was a great Godzilla film. Godzilla films always include a strong human element, at least the good ones. This was a re-imagining of Godzilla's first appearance and it was done well.
They didn't know and had to figure out who / what he was. It introduced him very well and covered the battle well.
Sure it could have been stretched another 20mins to add more footage of the fight and they'll likely do that or similar in an eventual sequel now that they realize there is a strong market out their for a modern approach to Godzilla.
However, the fight scenes were excellent. It was the appropriate size and look of Godzilla with a normal modern uptick in visualization. Same thing has happened to Godzilla in many movies. He gets updated with technology. Godzilla from the 50's isn't how Godzilla from the 90's looks.
He had personality. That is essential as he's not a mindless boring lizard. He clearly had personality and intelligence in the movie.
His atomic breath is done very well. It should never really have been red/yellow in the first place as it should be incredibly hot... so a blue/white makes more sense and simply looks better. It was also done as a later attack move which is also common in many of his movies as he boxes/wrestles more often.
The movie was done very well and ranks as one of my personal favorite Godzilla movies of all times.
I never understand why people get so bent out of shape with modern renditions of classics. This was a quality / real Godzilla movie. Its not going to win any Oscars, but no Godzilla movie ever should. They're a bit corny with giant monsters battling it out while not forgetting that humans are living down here too. That's what that movie was and it did it well.
Its also inspiring a whole new generation of people to love Godzilla. I took my 3 children and 5 nephews/nieces to go see it. EVERY person (ages 8 to 13) all LOVED the movie as the best thing they've seen. That is priceless to me as it ensures this amazing and sometimes lovable creature can continue to exist.
Easily 9/10 movie for me... easy.
