Don't forget SSX2, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Wave Race Blue Storm, NBA Street, etc. It was probably the best year ever. With the launch of the Gamecube and Xbox, all three companies brought their best to the table. I was overwhelmed! Definitely a 10/10.

I was a PS2/Dreamcast/Gamecube owner that year.

No Xbox?

9.5/10

Top 3 best year ever.

Haha, what would have been necessary for you to add dat 0.5?

Hmm yeah you're right 10/10!

Nah.  Didn't want an Xbox at all.  Was happy with what I had.  When I got my 360 in 2007, I played some Xbox games that I missed.

10/10! It would probably be my favourite year ever.

9.8/10

Fantastic year for me. Had an absolute blast.

Onimusha (BRING IT BACK), Silent Hill 2, ICO, FFX, Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, and SSX Tricky are some of my favorite games ever, period. On top of that, there were still more great games, like Devil May Cry, Twisted Metal: Black, and Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal. Really incredible year.

One of the best ever, 10/10.

Halo, Melee, GTA3 in one year is crazy enough, add in paper mario, conkers bad fur day, pikmin, ICO, FFX, MGS2, Zelda Oracle of Seasons&ages and its pretty much god tier already.

Also, DAT PS2.

If Capcom brought Onimusha back, I wonder if they would outsource it too.

Do they still have it in them to make a good Onimusha game?
