Forums - Microsoft - Question for Xbox One owners

1.) Can you play downloadable titles on Xbox One that you downloaded on the Xbox 360. For example redownload Risk Factions, Track and Field etc.

2.) I have been hearing conflicting reports, can you save CD's on the system?

3.) If I were to get the system this holiday what game would you recommend to get? I don't like racers that much, I don't like call of duty hmmm

4.) Do you think games will evolve into 1080p over time to match PS4 games?

5.) Is Kinect cool?

6.) Is the hardware a lot quieter than the fat Xbox 360?

My biggest concern about getting the Xbox One this holiday is the fact I can't really find any great games yet. I know a price cut will come but I don't wanna wait until next year to buy the system. What do you guys think? Finding a One at the stores shouldn't be too tough I have my ways lol

No, no BC at all.

Not sure about saving, but you can play. I can check later if I can find a CD that is :P

Killer Instinct, Zoo Tycoon, Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and Peggle 2.

4.) Do you think games will evolve into 1080p over time to match PS4 games?

Likely, these are launch games and we're already seeing some 1080p games.

5.) Is Kinect cool?

Very, so much better than the 360 kinect and works a lot smoother. Snap and voice commands feel natural at last.

6.) Is the hardware a lot quieter than the fat Xbox 360?

Helluva lot, to hear it you need to put your ear up against it.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

No BC at all, that sucks. PS4 is the same though so that sucks.
2.) Guys lemmi know if you can save CD's. I love listening to them while I play.
3.) Is dead rising and Zoo tycoon any good??
4.) I'm still concerned about this. I personally think all games will eventually be 1080p
5.) What are some good features about kinect?
Ok it's quieter I'm happy about that.

Havent tried cd stuff.

I just finished ryse son of rome, first playthrough. Took about 8 hours on centurion difficulty. Was a good challenge , died quite alot. Lol. I will review this game soon , but really enjoyed the game. Good combat system, good storytelling of a cliche story. But the execution is top class. Great voice acting, good twist and one of the best levels in hack n slash I can remeber. Visuals are rediculously good, the second half way better than the first half. If you like cinematic games, this is a must. Game draws you right in. Gonna play it on the hardest difficulty now I unlocked it.

Really good campaign. Havent tried coop yet. Will do tommorrow. The end scene was awesome.

BTW with games needing to be installed, do you think 500 Gigs is enough? I will not be buying more memory..

2. Just checked, Albert Penello says you can't rip CD's to the HDD sorry :( you can stream them tho and use snap to go on youtube, spotify ect.
3. Dead Rising 3 is great, Zoo Tycoon is getting a lot of good feedback. It's on 360, think there might be a demo, so maybe try that?
2. All you can do is wait, I wouldn't overally worry though, multiplats still look amazing compared to 360.
5. Kinect requires less space, works far more accurately, voice control is more natural. Can set kinect to control your TV. Within 5 seconds I can say Xbox On, and the kinect turns not only my xbox on, but my tv too, and signs me in. All in 5 seconds.

From the launch line up the average install is 17GB. Obviously some games like Ryse are bigger (34GB) but some games like Killer Instinct and Zoo Tycoon are smaller (3.5GB~)

500GB should be sufficient.

2.) Thats fricken lame. Makes me not want to get the system. That's such a basic feature.

3.) I think I'd end up getting dead rising 3. I only liked zoo tycoon for its dinosaur expansion pack on pc lol Ill see if theres a demo on 360..

4.) True, as long as its a decent upgrade from 360 I'll be happy. Not seeing it quite yet

Kinect seems cool. A little unnecessary but whatever.
