Same happened with the movie industry ages ago. I think its because Humans enjoy graphic violence, murder and porn. Its not becoming mainstream it was always mainstream the videogame industry just wasn`t far enough technology wise to deliever it believably.
People who talk about, and or gloat about games, but never buy them :(

I don't know if there is any great evil in this industry...
But this seems like as good a topic as any other to subject you all to my opinion of DLC...
I think it's great when it enhances the consumer's experience of the game...
But if it is required for consumers to feel a sense of having a whole or complete experience (which I think can happen), then I think something is wrong...

Unfinished (or stripped down rather) games shipped on disc with overpriced DLC that should have been on the retail version. #MassEffect3
