You get the console, 2 controllers, 2 games, 2 years of Xbox Live, and 20% off all games for 2 years that is definitely a deal. But yes I do think that 2 year warranty is a ripoff. Squaretrade for 3 years is like $36 from Amazon. Geek Squad is $89 for 2.

It was a good deal up until I saw the Best Buy gamer club and warranty

880$ is quite a bit of money. The 2 year extra warranty is bullshit but we know that console aren't lasting 4-5 year like they should.

The Gamers club is Best buy trying to get you out of buying your game digitally if you take the 20% off and the resell value of your games you can easily recover the cost of gamer club. The shitty part is that you have to buy new games can't use gamer club on a discount game.

Let your friend and family know that you have gamer club, you can buy new games for them and save $12, you can either charge them $5 for the effort or just have the satisfaction of knowing that your gamer club membership is being used.

Also, normal retail price Xbox One $500 + Controller 60$ + 2 games 120$ + 2 year of Xbox Live $100 = $780 ..... for $100 more you get 2 year warranty and Gamer club. You're paying $100 for extra warranty and Gamer Club but in reality you're simply just locking in to only shopping at best-buy. Best-buy should be paying you to lock you in as a customer, instead you paying to become a member.

It's a good deal if for peace of mind, you really needed extra warranty.
