Why would Sony spends lots of money for dead series that hasn't been relevant since ps1 days and there current market wanting nothing in that genre.

Sly and Twisted Metal are not Crash. Crash is still a Playstation icon and I'm sure it would sell at least a couple of millions on PS4.

well, my hopes for a crash game has not died. ok, if it were sony owned and made by naughty dog again... holy cow. but it could still become a good multiplatform title.

Best selling Twisted Metal sold a little bit more than 2m and the best selling Sly just under 2m. First 3 Crash games all sold around 7m. They are not even close in popularity. These are according to vgc numbers.
