its probably cause the way nintendo markets itself, while ms/sony try push there consoles as amazing pieces of tech, while being the cool new thing. nintendo just markets itself as a kids toy.

if I considered them toys I wouldn't be playing on them but I don't mind people calling them toys since trying to convince idiots does not work so just leave it at that.
