really?  the whole piece lasted maybe 15 seconds.  i was surprised first at how much they didn't seem to care and then about how negative they were on consoles to begin with.  if xbox is supposed to do better in the mainstream market than in the hardcore market they'll need more interest than this.  i mean, fuck, apple could sell cups of piss and they'd get a ten minute piece about it.

i didn't catch the news last week to see if they did anything for ps4...  i'll bet it was as "non-event" as this one though.

I didn't watch it just agreed to the two points you listed as their factual, while the third point is what gamers have been hearing for years now....

I can see smart phones having an effect on the handheld gaming market, but home consoles?......na that would take powerful computers getting cheap to build to happen.

Yeah Angry Birds, Temple Run, and Candy Crush are TOTALLY replacing The Last of Us, Ni no Kuni, Bioshock, Zelda. etc

Point #3 is pure gold, but they really needed a follow up point to accompany it:

"Pay no attention to the success of that PS4 launch behind the curtain..."

1) They already taking over the video game market, the numbers of video game devs is growing for tablets/smart phones while it is going down for consoles..

2) If they are not video games then what are they?
