1. Some people are embarassed to go to the gym.
2. Some people don't have enough money to get to a gym.
3. Some people work strange hours making it difficult to get to the gym.
4. Some people like video games, and like working out, and therefore being able to combine the two into the limited free time they have.
5. Wii Fit is more fun than typical excercise, and some people need a spoonful of sugar to make the medicine go down.
6. Some people have never worked out regularly and need an easy or low impact routine to get into it.
7. Some people like to supplement heavier workouts with lighter ones on off days.
8. Not all activities are balance related. Push ups for instance are push ups.
9. The balance board is an incredibly accurate scale, and that alone is worth about 50 bucks.
10. Some people legitimately need to work on their balance.
11. With the balance board you can use Wii Fit while watching TV instead of just sitting.
12. Some people are busy and do not have a gym nearby.
Lots of great reasons to use Wii Fit. You may not get it, and it may not be for you, but don't make the egocentric assumption that "not for you" means "bad product".
