I want to believe that, it just seems like there's zero hype, zero advertising, and zero pre-orders for GT6 right now. GT6 being the first GT to release AFTER the PS successor console doesn't put my mind at ease anymore so, that's a whole other wildcard to account for. The way Puppeteer, Killzone Mercenaries, and Tearaway by the looks of it (though it's FINALLY gotten some decent hype this last week, just in the nick of time) were sent out to die by Sony also has me nervous.

Still, Last of Us opened a LOT higher than I expected, and I didn't think there was any hype for GTV either, so what do I know.

@Tomtom: PD themselves gave an interview today saying they could have GT7 out on PS4 by 2014.

@dietsoap, if you're refering to the top gear interview then:

1) it was not today, it was several days ago

2) it's been blown way out of proportions for several reasons:
  -a) probably alot of it was lost in translation and top gear probably also took libery phrasing the already wacky japanese translation.
  -b) it's probably not even the full game kaz was referring to, maybe the prologue version.
  -c) Kaz said BEST case scenario is end of 2014, meaning we'd get most likely get it 2015
  -d) PD don't make tech demos for GT prologues that early, looking at past history



dont get me wrong, if the tech demo exist, shit i would love to see it and jizz to it, but i very skeptical of it, especially when the only info is some random dude's tweet.

GT6 according to VGC at least..and latley the'yre pre orders have been on track...just had GT6 increase 35k and its 3 weeks away..and at the rate its increasing it will at least be on par with GT5 pre orders..however its main terriotroy is Europe..and regardless of hype GT being released in Europe = MONSTER sales..it will sell at least 1 million first week in Europe and end up having terrific legs..just look at GT5 sales.

It has a slight benefit of dropping on a 80 million +++ 

Sony will support PS3 for another 2/3 years so ill have its time to sale.
