Some games turn to trail versions some can boot offline in full version (minecraft) and if you lose connection mid game you don't get kicked out, you stay in the full version.
Meh
There are definitely some annoying restrictions, but another example of a journalist not fully informed.
Is it really true that you can't look at trophies offline, because that sucks

iJust tried to look at my trophies and I couldn't since it is considered a PSN feature.
At least I found out update 1.51 is out. Hopefully it fixes the small issues I ran into.

IGN is misinformed, Polygon is misinformed, at this point just listen to forum goers, lol. At least we have the common sense to check our PSN settings.

I still think it's a bit crap and unnecesary

Agreed 100%, but not to the point where I would consider it a deal breaker.
I would just chalk it up as a "stupid decision".
As a bright spot though, it only takes me like 4-5 seconds now to sync my trophies. It was atrocious on PS3.

so do you have new information regarding trophies and such or have you created a new account/id name for your PS4

Well they got it right on Vita too. I have avoided the syncing stuff but getting it to do it automatically with +
But it just feels that they got the PS4 so close to perfect, its a shame that they've made a few stupid decisions

I'm using the same PSN ID I use on my PS3 and Vita. Euphoria14. It shows all trophies across all (3) platforms, it just puts in parethesis which console they come from.
