That that to my bleeding eyes when ever that second crop of pics flash. It'd rather watch Medusa than look at that again lol

Well one of the signs reads "Warning Authorized Personnel Only" and the other reads "wfasrgn authsosng Persfang Ongy" but who cares about reading in a video game.. right?.. RIGHT??

Exactly! We should just take the lead of George W. and go with the "gut" and say to hell with reading in video games. xD

In all seriousness it's a minor thing. If I was an XBO (only) owner I wouldn't take issue with this much.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Where is xbo? All I see is they compare patched and unpatched.

Well as XBO was the same resolution and looked the same... don't think there is any need to dig that up... but I am sure that someone will at some point... its just this was in the same article etc so it's easier to grab images from.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Lol that's pretty funny, turns out the PS4 is too powerful for its own good XD.

Damn need to get a 120fps tv now :(

My TV is 120Hz no wonder I didnt see the choppiness people were talking about. I thought it looked damn smooth like on a high end PC.

You are really interesting me.

So you re saying that any stutter due to unsynced animation between 30 fps and 59fps or above 60 won't be seen on a 120hz screen? What about others games like knack at 35fps or god of war at 45fps?

Here a comparison PS4 patched vs X1 (stolen from excellent anadtech review/face-off).

In native resolution (only), you'll see the sharpened effect actually add some noise and "invent" stuff that aren't there, and the fact the sharpened image is not natural. Also you'll better notice the aliased edges in motion.

Moreover, the fact that the 1080p image has the same textures of the 720p (X1 hampers PS4 confirmed by resolution of textures) doesn't help to notice difference in details of textures. And the textures have indeed as much details in the resolution, because the resolution of textures are natively the same.

But really, objectively you'll notice one screenshot is higher res than the other. (notice I didn't say better, because maybe you prefer the good old bitmap style res?)

Im not experiencing the tearing or choppiness at all. I did on god of war. I havent rented knack yet, Im not spending $60 on that. :)

AC4 after yesterdays update looks fantastic and sharp and smooth and nice.

Its a smart tv so it smooths everything out nicely with whatever the processors that are inside, even for ps3 games, but not as much as what I have seen on ps4 so far which has been much better than I thought before I got the system.

There is never any purpose or point to having more than 6fps, in any game, ever.

VR would profit from 1000-2000 frames/s and 1000-2000 hz displays.

Thank you. So the patch did remove all stuttering on COD. Why then Digital Foundry said there was still some stutter? Granted it wasn't an article from Leadbetter. But if you notice stutter at 45fps, maybe the 120hz remove some slight stutter?

Pure speculation and curiosity from my part. Who has a 120hz/ 240Hz TV and hase compared to 60hz/TV with God of war unlocked-type games?

And don't tease me with AC4!!! the screenshots I have seen are indeed splendid and everything smooth as butter....Yummy.
