They seem to complain a bit about Kinect. I guess we'll see if it's potential is ever seen

You have to give it a second to kick in before talking, also those AA batteries getting 20+ hours of gameplay compared to 8 - 10 with PS4.........Looks like the world needs batteries.


Well its not that much of a pause, it actually should just be "Xbox, Play Dead Rising 3" instead of how IGN ignorantly blurts XBOX PLAY DEAD RISING 3. It needs to know that you aren't using it in a conversation and actually talking to it.

Yeah mate, that was what i was trying to say, just a slight pause to let the one recognise that you are talking to it. 

Sorry I could of worded it much better! WAY to much hype for tomorrow night to get here. in 24 hours time i will be at EB Melbourne to wait for this beast

Polygon gave X1 8.0 score (7.5 given to PS4).

X1 better than PS4 confirmed. It is official now.

Of course the OS will get better as time passes by.
MP3s, voice commands, Twitch, external HDDs, Snap will all get better / will be supported



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Look at how much the 360 changed over the years starting with the blades. With about 4 or 5 updates a year we end up with the 360 we have today. The Xbox One should be no different in how updates make it better.

yeap pretty much.... exactly what I expected.... this is great.... it's like kinect 1 in way better.... I already have very little problem with kinect 1 that seems to solve the one I had....

 

thanks for the video that's all I needed to be convinced the other reviewers are just either anti kinect and don't even try properly or have no clue how to use it in the first place.... it's like a hardcore windows user making a review on OSX for the first time and saying it sucks because he doesn't know how it works....

 

so now I need to try to get one of those amazon XB in 5 minutes

wow that IGN guy was an idiot, not using the right format of commands half the time.

Some solid reviews so far, and being the far more ambitious console than the PS4, it naturally isn't going to appeal to everyone, but still its getting pretty much the same reviews as PS4 for now.
