Forums - Microsoft - Target X1 numbers (less than Ps4)

Its not a supertarget butits pretty big, high volume store. Its on a popular shopping strip next to a highway in nyc. Last black friday our store made a bit over 1million in sales

Not calling you a liar but i think your mistaken. My store in Milwaukee did well over a million on BF and does over 60Mil a year. Its in a college town and gets trucks every single night. They got nowhere near 60 and no where near 90 X1s. Also, in Naperville, a super target in one of the wealthier parts in Illinois, got no where near 60/90 either. Only thing that makes it somewhat believable is you said NYC with is... shit 3x bigger than chicago. However, buy the figures you gave so far the store would be comparable to the ones in my district

Target has a huge presence here in the northwest.  Its kinda replaced K-mart.

Yup, Taget is a huge retailer and in some locations dominates Walmart in presence. Such as Chicago. Target owns Chicago.

And all of Minnesota, since it originated from here.

Yup, I also want ro say LA too. And when i say Chicago and LA i mean Chicago and LA. Go out of rhe city limits and it will be a different story. I assume its because of each targeted demographics and strategy.

. But Target is a big player in NA. They have i think aroun 3x the store BestBuy And the only reason they would sell more than Target is because the nature of the store. People writing Target off because they arent going to sell as much as specialty stores or the number 1 retailer in the world (do to shameful business practices worse than most other businesses) are doing so wrongfully.

Sorry for my atrocious spelling throughout this thread (i have noticed more than a few mistakes) but im on my phone and its 6:30am here.

No offense but who cares? The Walmart near my house only got 3 PS4's. I am strongly considering being there at midnight tomorrow to snag an Xbone. If they have 10, I guess I should make a thread? That should apparently mean Xbone will sell like 3 million if I have done my anecdotal evidence mathematics correctly.

And what about the other 20 walmarts in your area?

It's launching in 12 nations. I'll be surprised if it doesn't at least outsell the PS4s NA numbers.

Me BenV and another gamestop manager are all saying it wont match ps4s NA numbers. You have retailers reporting MS shorting them on preorders in UK and amazon in UK saying ps4 will sell more. Global first week numbers for X1 vs first week NA ps4 numbers... X1 will probably win. NA only? Doesnt look like it
