What happened with all the EA hatred?

Well in fairness EA the publisher sucks. Dice are a good developer. Ghost, who are Criterion in disguise, are a good developer. EA is just a shit company. Burnour Criterion are gone forever. And by the looks of it Dice may not have much longer left with the state EA made them release BF4 in.

That looks to be spot on then..wow!

EA is like a parasite killing the hosts/devs and then looking for new ones. It makes me sad...

first response already explained it. when you release more games as everyone else, you should also sell more than everyone else. well, activision probably beat them with less games.

we are saving for a thread about this:
At the UBS Global Technology Conference, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said that EA's partnership with Microsoft on Titanfall is a basic business agreement, and, for EA, it made sense to keep the next-gen title on Microsoft platforms.
"That's a process that's been done through the industry for many years," Jorgensen said. "There's lots of single-platform titles. Obviously, you work with the first-parties to make sure the economics make sense for all sides, and we made that decision on Titanfall."

I kinda liked Batlefield 3 a little, bought for 19 dollars, so I did not expect much, but at least it is cooler than Call of Duty, which I really dislike A LOT.

I mean, it's just a contuation of this generation. Battlefield, Madden, and Fifa are all huge franchises that normally cross the million mark relatively quickly on the current gen (or should i say previous gen now). Need For Speed isn't quite as big anymore but at the same time, without any racing competition, it's obviously going to pick up the sales. If DriveClub would have actually made the launch window, I'm sure the Need For Speed wouldn't have sold as well. |
Agree, to delay Driveclub was really wise, EA is probably really happy with Sony right now, MS could have been cool to them also and left Forza 5 to 2014, that would make NFS Rivals a sure shot in both consoles.
