We’re thrilled to announce that Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster is coming to North America on March 18th, 2014. We also have a brand new trailer to show off.

But ladies and gentleman, the news doesn’t end there. We have completely updated the Limited Edition Packaging with this gorgeous HD render of Tidus and Yuna, which I just absolutely fell in love with when I first saw this image. We also updated the concept artbook with Yoshitaka Amano’s iconic image from Final Fantasy X and X-2. Why did we update it, you ask? It will all make sense later, I promise.

For those of you that didn’t know about this until now, you can still pre-order the game and receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition with the exclusive concept artbook packaging, but quantity is very limited!

LONDON (18 November, 2013) – Square Enix Ltd., publishers of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in Europe and PAL territories, announced today that FINAL FANTASY® X|X-2 HD Remaster will be released 21st March 2014, for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

Two of the most acclaimed FINAL FANTASY adventures of all time are back. Return to the world of Spira, the sport of Blitzball and fall in love with a cast of fan favourite characters including Tidus and Yuna, looking better than you've ever seen them before. The creators' original vision is stunningly realised with today's technology to deliver the definitive versions of these classic RPGs.

PlayStation 3 owners can get both games in one single-disc bundle. Choose from the standard edition or a special Limited Edition version, which includes an exclusive to Europe and PAL territories 48-page art book showcasing an elegant collection of concept art from the games, along with commentary from the original FINAL FANTASY X and FINAL FANTASY X-2 development teams, and a special message from Producer Yoshinori Kitase. Additionally, the PlayStation 3 release will also be available as a digital download via PlayStation®Network.

Full details of the PlayStation®Vita version and release timing will be revealed at a future date.

OT: Loved FFX, i never played the sequel, might have to pick a copy up. Show my Little Bro why ths game sold 9mil Bravely Default got some goods coming too! SE being generous now ???

This, plus Bravely Default and KH 1.5 and 2.5 Remixes are looking like a big WE'RE SORRY!!! apology from last gen S-E. If only their new games could be as good on the PS4/One/Wii U, then they'll be completely forgiven...

Or not, if they decide to remake FFV and FFIV only for mobiles. If that happens, screw you S-E .
