I've only played Persona 4 and still haven't got round to finishing it.
I think most of me doesn't actually want to finish it because it is just so damm good....
But I'm definitely not getting my hopes up for this announcement, it's probably going to be nothing
Am i the only one who thinks that reveal might be Devil Survivor? C'mon, it had Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya listed, in that order, just like it appears in the game, plus we had a Devil Survivor 2 anime and remake, this year. Persona might be probable because it was posted by persona's twitter, but I can still B_E_L_I_E_V_E.

On another note: I actually only played Persona 4 up until now, and that was only because I got myself a Vita for various reasons and needed something to play. Having heard lots of good stuff about the Persona series (or the [Shin] Megami Tensei series overall actually), I bought the game out of impulse when I saw it on sale for 25€ in a local store. ...And I have to say that playing it was one of the most pleasant gaming experiences I've ever had. I can't even pinpoint exactly why I feel that way, since the "level design" (I guess) is rather bland for the fact that the levels are randomly generated, but really, story and characters were nothing short of amazing and somehow made me look past that flaw. I wouldn't call it the best RPG of all time or anything (as I've seen some people doing), but it's a damn fine game, and I'm currently looking into getting other games from the series (though I'll probably have to lower my expectations a bit when looking into older titles, just as I had to when it came to Fire Emblem [my favourite game series], where I still managed to enjoy every game, even the first one, so yeah, I'm optimistic that I'll like the other Persona games as well). |
You call that an impulse buy, I bought the Vita just to play P4G. Which I had never played or really heard of, just a JRPG with good reviews

I've played Persona 1 Portable, Persona 2 Innocent Sin, and Persona 3 Portable. I do have Persona 4 and Persona 3 FES on PS2 but havent played it yet.

While you have your LvL70 Thanatos, I'm chilling with my LvL99 maxed stats Messiah with Spell Master, Elec Boost, Elec Amp, Mind Charge, Thunder Reign and owning fools who dare get in my way. You don't want to know how many shuffles it actually took me to get all that stuff onto my Messiah.

Or better yet, wait till you get a Vita (whenever that may be) and get Golden. One of the best rpgs I've played ever!

I hope they're gonna announce something good. I mean the Persona team hasn't been up to a lot this gen anyway.
They have been teasing us for a very long time...5 years is more than enough, please Atlus! haha
