Did you see the Update? It kind of made it look like a false rumor to me... Are they planning on doing this already?

Yeah, I saw that. Hard to tell whether they are working on it or not from statements they have made about the issue.  I also have a thread open on the official PlayStation forums about the issue, but no response yet. I will update everyone if I hear anything though.

Shu has acknowledged the problem in an interview with IGN around a couple of days ago and has indicated that he has spoken to the engineers to get this fixed. Unfortunately not time-frame for the turnaround... :(

I lied about my age fortunately. Would like to change it when I turn 18 though, but I don't think you can.

Being able to play media files off a USB should be a petition as well!

You can get PS+ on a sub-account, which makes this feature REALLY IMPORTANT.

Making a new account makes you lose stuff. Losing your name? That sucks but it's fine. Losing your trophies? That sucks but it's fine. Losing years of the games you've collected with plus? That's unacceptable.

Plus all the PS4 restrictions on sub-accounts like no share options just kinda suck. It's actually something I'll ask Sony about since the share button is integral to my game.

sub accounts have a different trophy collection so it should carry over when they make an upgrade available.

Ive been stuck with a sub account for like 6 years now....the one time i put in my true D.O.B, this shit happens. luckily i did purchase all the stuff through my sub account though so PS+ should carry over.

Yup, already voted. I made my PSN way back when the PSP first launched so I'm in the same boat as most of you.

i feel your pain but i'm also lazy..

This is becoming real important. Why?

Because if you do not have a Master account you face these problems on a PS4:

1. You cannot link all your built up library to a new Master account and you will be having 2 sets of trophies.
2. With a sub account you cannot share your upload videos, pics etc using the Share button which is kind of the killer feature on the PS4.

It's so important that the wish for change get back to Sony and this is a great way of making your say count :)

I am lucky in that I had a Master account but one of my buddies is not so lucky and it's causing a huge dilemma for him when he gets his PS4 on the 29th.
