Nintendo developers mentality will crash from the beginning trying to have a game on other console just to give credit to that console. Nintendo is the biggest PUBLISHER AND DEVELOPER in the history of video games, so even if Nintendo makes tons of money with SONY they will go back again to make their own console. The only PUBLISHER that develop their own console is Nintendo, and there is a reason for that: They are so big and successful that it just makes sense. So your dream stop at the middle of the crusade even if you don't want it.

If for a miracle nintendo decides to abandon wii u and 3ds and make their games to others plataforms, of course i would buy any console that would have its games, nintendo games are a must have!

Kratos using Yoshi would be hilarious. It would also make Yoshi look more mature and hardcore! And the final boss should be Mario, for all the horrible times they spent in Super Mario World...

I don't really know how developing for a stronger console could hinder thier games. If that was the case then I think the devs are probably doing a poor job anyway.

I trust in Nintendo to deliver good games, no matter the platform. They've shown they can do so even on underpowered consoles (Wii). As long as they make good games, I'll be there. If they start making crappy games, no matter on what platform, I'm out.

Why would they go on PS4? By the time they decide to get out of the console business, they'll decide to go on the PS5

Considering demographics and past relations, I find it a lot more feasible that Nintendo would develop for the tablet/phone market. They could do really well there, I don't think they would be very lucky on PS and Xbox machines, to be honest.

I hope this never happens though, demeaning Nintendo by having them produce games for shit platforms is bad news for all of us and this wouldn't first and foremost lift the quality of tablet/phone games; it would lower the quality of home console games.

That said, this scenario is very unlikely, I do believe that Nintendo will replace the Wii U within a reasonable amount of time though, three years or less is possible, depening on the performance of themselves and the other contenders on the market.

Well, that is my dream. Nintendo going to PS4 then going back to their console. As smple as that. 

As much as I want to see Mystwalker make Legend of Dragoon 2 for PS4 with Wiimote controls, we all know it'll never happen.
