I recently got a Wii U along with TW101, NSMBU and WWHD, and I must say I thought the game was pretty confusing at first.The isometric view alone was making me a bit angry as I was often lost on what was happening, was getting my ass kicked due to not seeing where some attacks were coming from.

Plus, the game doesn´t do a very good job of explaining things, imo...in a nutshell, the learning curve being steeper than I thought + confusing isometric view + me being impatient = regret getting the game....until I decided to watch a few videos that explain things nicely (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdHbPXNJvVE), started paying more attention to all the action and things just started 'clicking'.

I´m almost done with mission 001 and I admit, it´s being a fresh experience compared to everything I´ve been playing for many years.

The 'entry barrier' for this game is a bitch, but glad I got past it.

I've been meaning to try the demo again. I really want to want this game, because I want to support it, but I'm not going to spend money on it unless I can get it to "click" as well.

yes sir. You still haven't gotten to the peak of the difficulty and innovation of the game.
Few tips: draw the shapes without looking at the screen (only con is that I pulled the heroes tab on the gamepad very often), much more faster than sticks. (my opinion though).
THE MOST IMPORTANT: at most play 1 mission per day, if not you will get frustrated and beaten so often. It is so demanding that you need all your senses while playing, a difficult thing to achieve for more than 3 hours to me.
This things helped me to enjoy the game at its fullest, I hope they help you. Because this game is GAME OF THE YEAR on the action games for me.

I expect no less from Kamiya.

I have this way down in my queue, but I'm thinking about bumping it up. Can't wait to really get into it.

If you can get it to 'click' (which certainly was no easy task for me), perhaps you´ll find it one hell of an addicting action game , right there with Bayonetta and the original DMC (if you even played/enjoyed them, that is)

I have a wiiU but I am just on the fence about this game... should I buy it now or wait till there is some sort of a deal?

It is by far my favorite game on the Wii U so far.
