Ha, I wish, the money saved is mostly going to the actual renting of the office, which is rather cheap in Michigan, paying $400 a month for the four man office, it's small but it gets the job done, the only flaw is that the restroom is shared in the building and it's literally nothing but an empty room with desks facing one another, lol but it works for our needs. Hell, that's only $100 a month amongst us, the only thing that will consume time is school but that's okay cause I'm only going part-time now and so will they since they have dreams as big as I do.
I'm actually gonna be staying with a friend for awhile, until our first game is complete, we're currently early in development at the moment, hopefully when the money starts coming in I'll move. But most of my time will be spent at the office working hard on the game. I'm trying to keep a very optimistic attitude at the moment if you haven't noticed by saying when instead of if, lol. Sorry just the thought of it being sucessesful makes me smile.
Anyways, me and my closets friend, who's also a member of the team used to write tons of manga in highschool and novels, however none came to fruitation, we even sent a One Shot to Shounen Jump in senior year lol never got a reply. But yeah, our first game is actually inspired by the one shot we sent Shounen Jump. I let my cousin(who's a thug) borrow some of my PS3 games since my PS3 died and he loved Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2's story, and he didn't even know the manga or anime existed, and he was like, legit super interested in the story. It made me realize that novels, mangas, and tv show inspired games have great stories by default for the most part, and I want the game to be heavily story driven with a stellar combat system. Anyways let me stop, I'm starting to rant now lol
