Starting next March I'll be leaving my current job and life in the worst city in America and will began working for myself, as a co-founder of my own mobile gaming studio. Right now it's only a four man effort, but we have the capitol to start work on our project and rent out a four man office for a few years already and we're all still saving. We're choosin the mobile market because anything that's quality will sell there, and we're basing our successfulness on quality. What do we plan to make?
Turn based RPG's, the Android and IOS market is oversaturated with mini-games like temple run and whatnot, however there aren't a lot of traditional RPG's there, and the ones that are there doesn't scream quality or are just remakes. But this is all very risky because I'm literally putting everything on the line here, but it's always been my dream to develop a quality game that I have control over
Anyone else here is an Indie dev or mobile dev? If so I'd like to hear what's it like so I can brace myself!
