I play games since the gameboy period. My first console was a snes. I played tons of games on that system. Rpg's, mario kart, super mario all stars and so on.
My love began. Nintendo was IT for me. Then the n64 came. I loved the title they had before it became n64 ( ULTRA 64!!! ). Why didn't they stick to that?
I needed that system. I got it at launch. The only console i got at launch. I played mario 64, mario kart 64 for hundreds of hours.
Nintendo> the rest.
Gamecube time: Super mario sunshine, i endured you. I loved you, but you were painfull at times. Cleaning the beach, anyone??? A great system and games.
Wii time: I played the wii, the super mario galaxy games. Overrated, in my opinion, but still good.
Then the wii-u. Wow, The wii-u. I watched the 2011 e3 livestream, for the first time in my life. I watched it and thought to myself, is the controller the console? Just like many people with me.
Second e3 livestream 2012. Not impressed. Still not impressed. Maybe it's my age, my memories, my life at the moment, but what a mistake this has been. Everybody has over-analysed the situation. I won't do that. My gaming heart for nintendo is growing with pain, with ''what could have been''.
It's not over. 2014 will be the year! Zelda-u is gonna be the game that will convince me to buy a wii-u. I know it will. But will it be enough?!
I'm not sure. I'm just sad.
