Possibly. The X1 will still win in the US and UK. It seems as though they have focused more shipments in those main territories. Could be wrong, I think this gen will be closer than people here are expecting.

I doubt it. XONE looks like a good console but it would also have to outship the PS4 in less time and in less countries.

In US x1 will outsells ps4 by 10-20%, in UK it'll be a tie. The rest of the world ps4 will outsell x1 by 2:1/3:1, overall ps4 will outsells x1 by at least 50% margin.

No, this year is pretty much already PS4's by the preorders. Early next year Xbox One will gain the momentum and pull ahead.

FYI, at this moment, the software preorder number in US for ps4 is larger than x1 by a noticeable margin, and US is xbox's backyard. If x1 has to go head to head with ps4 in US even, can you imagine what the global numbers will be like? I know you're an xbox fan and all but you got to be realistic in your forecast.
