I heard of some guy system bricking because he pulled the power plug during the firmware update. Why can't people realize that pulling the plug during a major firmware update is a bad idea.

a "sony update" is more than enough for most folk to want to pull the plug in rage.

IGN just reported an update about 10 minutes ago stating that there console stopped working after the recent update. Sony brought them a new console since they were mid review of the hardware.

I really hope this doesn't become widespread. Makes me worry about my launch X1 (crosses-fingers).

Not worried about the xbox one.....target shipped a ton early and there was no problems reported that I know about. for those getting a PS4, I would definitley hold off until I see more reports.

Good thing warranty, sucks when your console breaks after like 1 year 3 months...

Thing is, the console isn't even released yet.............though the people reporting problems could be trolls. I do suspect the guy on twitch was a troll. nobody could be as stupid as he was performing.

He didn't, he was downloading DCUO, and the PS4 froze. He tried turning it off and nothing would work so he unplugged it. Where is everyone getting the idea that he unplugged during a firmware update?

In 24 hours I predict a ducktonne of dead ps4s being reported
