you can play offline without the update, and the update is already up. He played for a while, switched gaes to bf4, it started to update, froze at 20% and it all went to hell.
the controller light changed to white and it became unresponsive.

No surprise for a launch system, they were bound to break. How many people still have a working 60Gb unit that never had any problems?
How many ps4's were given away by Taco Bell? This cant be a good sign of things to come.

Between the poor materials used on the thumb-stick and now the White Light of Death, this isn't looking good for the DS4.
I'm curious. Did just the DS4 have to go into repair or the entire console?
If just the DS4, not that big of a deal, but if the console itself had to go that is not good.
