I think people who believed microsoft's bullshit PR should be offended by their lies in claiming consoles power parity. 

Edit: And as a PC gamer of 10 years, I'm further offended by the fact that they had the gut to flat out compare x1 to a high end gaming PC, just listen to Albert Penello's podcast. Apparently communcating their product with honesty to their customers isn't in their book.

TS just messes things around. All of us can make a simple test.
1. Take a 1080p picture.
2. Resize it to 720p.
 3. Put both on a flash drive.
4. Put a flash drive in your TV.
 5. Look at the pictures fullscreen on your TV, one by one.

Then come back and say honestly:
1. Did you saw a difference?
2. If yes - is this difference changes the picture itself or not?

Exactly, they should, I never bought a PS3 so it doesn't apply to me. Read my edit above.

PC's that can do PS4 level graphics above 1080p for 6 years are an unrealistic option for most people.

on top of that you would have to buy a monitor that supports resolutions over 1080p.

if people are comparing the nissan 370 and the honda s2000, you dont come in and say just get a ferrari because it sounds stupid.


I absolutely agree with you. I'm simply using the author's own words to point out how silly his argument is. In reality, gamers use a multitude of criteria to select their next gaming console, it is not a simple matter of resolution, or gameplay, or any other single thing.
