Anyone knows if that Monolith project was confirmed to be for 3DS?

So... early 2014, eh? Is that first half, or just first quarter?

They're not going to release Kirby and Yoshi in the same quarter, not when Bravely Default is coming in January or February. It'd be too crowded.

I'd say Yoshi is March, Mario Golf is April, and Kirby doesn't get a date 'til E3 2014.

I know it's a long-shot at this point, since the game has gone unlocalized for almost a year now, but why doesn't Nintendo or Level 5 see opportunity for Fantasy Life in the west?  An online, co-op Animal Crossing-type game with a focus on adventuring and battling?  How would that not sell decently over here? 

HHmmmm.... i do wonder what else they can announce for the 3DS. Feels like every major Nintendo series has had one outing for it. Maybe except metroid?

It was confirmed they were hiring and working on a 3DS game, since Monolith expanded into a two-team studio.  One for Wii U, the other for 3DS.  3DS project is probably further out than the Wii U game, though.  We first saw game footage of X ten months ago, and there's been no announcement of what the 3DS game might be yet.  My guess is a modified handheld Xenoblade game.

December.  Nintendo probably wants to see how much of a boost 3D World gives to hardware sales over Black Friday, and then make some decisions.  It'll tell them whether or not they're in serious trouble with an unattractive hardware system, or whether it was merely that the software so far this year has been unappealing.

I wouldnt be opposed to a port of Xenoblade chronicles on the 3DS... if it can run it.

Right, exactly.  That's the big question.  Or maybe it's a brand new game, like a prequel to 'X' for Wii U?

I want to see some of the Yoshi games (Yoshi's Yarn and Yoshi's New Island). We haven't seen much on either.

Also, Iwata says they are going to fix the disappointing Virtual Console, so let's finally here that GBA is coming to the 3DS and N64/Gamecube to the Wii U.
