If Sony and Microsoft came out with this attachment that you could connect via USB to your X1 and PS4 and it let you play all your 360 and PS3 games would you buy it?  I think they could sell it for $60 and make a profit, correct me if I'm wrong.  I'd buy it because I got a huge backlog of games and don't wanna buy a X1 or PS4 til I'm done them since I can't play them on there.  I had no problem buying a Wii U since I can still play the Wii games on my backlog, and I got it for $200 :P.  So would you guys buy it or would you have no interest in it?

well you can somewhat do that with the x1 since you can plug the 360 into the x1

You can't put an X360 or a PS3 on a USB dongle. The transfer rate, power draw and heat dissipation would make it impossible.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

I would for the XB1, but not for the PS3. My PS3 is newer (slim) and plays blurays, so I'm keeping it hooked up to another TV. My 360 is big, old and doesn't even have wifi, so I would be glad to replace it.

Depends really... If they were to have such an attachment, what would be stopping hackers from developing an emulator for PC to allow us to play ps3/360 games on our PCs?

And I don't think $60 will be enough asking price cause the main issue that there isn't any backwards compatibility is cause Sony went from Cell to x86 and MS went from PowerPC to x86 (I think) vs WiiU just went from PowerPC low power edition to PowerPC HD w/ Tablet edition (basically) and considering the amount of power needed for PCs to run wii and ps2 games at 720p and 30 fps... It would take the second coming of Jesus for ps4 and xbox 1 to emulate their previous generation consoles without asking at least 150+ dollars...

Are you asking for the price of a single full retail game that would allow me to play my old games, old arcade games, Kinect and everything else off my 360? Heck ya!

That would be awesome!

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Tell me a funny joke!

I remember reading a rumor called Xbox Stingray, which I believe had something like this in mind. To answer your question. I'd be willing to even pay $100 for that. 100% YES! YES! YES!

Edit: The main reason I got a Wii U day one was because it was backwards compatible. Still have Xenoblade, Metroid 1-3, Galaxy 2, Last Story, SS, and a few others left to play. I would have pre-ordered day one, maybe week 1, if Sony, or MS would have announced fully backwards compatible.
