About the WiiU, they are correct. Remember, this a TECH list, not a video game console list. Techies are the people who have PC Master Race GIFs in their SIg, or are happy that the PS4 versions of BF4 and CODG have higher resolutions when compared to their Xbox One counterparts.

That audience is not the one who would want a WiiU. And of course there are SOME who would still buy a WiiU, but chances are it's way too uncommon.

...only if you already have a WiiU - otherwise it's an excellent gift.

i think it is a great gift for nintendo fans or for people who love to have a great evening with their family or friends playing some awesome multiplayer matches. but sure, if they exclude these people and look mostly at tech enthusiasts who use their equipment mostly alone, wii u is probably not a great choice.

If they had seen that thread, i'm pretty sure they would have stayed away from video games in general.
