There's no way to give a clue to this game that isn't immediately obvious :(
Correct! :)

No?

Alright, I'm a little behind, so I'm going to power through the next few.
#12 - Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2)
Probably one of my most played games of all time. No other game has ever given me a sense of freedom like this game has. A huge map containing three whole cities, hundreds of different vehicles and pages of absolutely ridiculous cheats, this game kept me hooked for years.

I thought mine was pretty good, even though Player2 figured it out pretty quick.

I thought you already put Super Metroid on your list and said you preferred Fusion, or am I mixing you up with someone else? (Probably am.) Great choice, though. If it's Super Metroid, of course. Anyway, hint number 9: After making your life more difficult at every turn and just generally being a dick to you for almost the entirety of two (technically) separate games, the character that has his name on the title ended up being a complete wimp of a boss fight and a bit of an anticlimax. |
Super Metroid is right!
#11 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3 / Xbox 360)
After playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare obsessively for two years, me and many millions of other angry teenagers across the globe were thirsty for more, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 delivered. More guns, more killstreaks, more explosions, better graphics, a turbulent campaign and a new spec-ops mode, MW2 took everything from the original game and dialed it up to 11. This game was absolutely huge in its day, it had garnered an unbelievable amount of hype and advertisements were everywhere. Everybody my age was playing it, and it was great. Although future installments went to sell on more, none of them bought friends and gamers together like this game did, and I don't think any game will again.
#12: Metal Gear Solid (PS1)
Hideo Kojima struck the perfect balance of incredible story and thrilling gameplay with the first Metal Gear Solid. I absolutely love how the story of MGS unfolds, there's mystery, suspense, betrayals, vengence, long lost brothers, Naomi is British. To go along with this amazing story is gameplay like no other game. You don't go in guns blazing, you sneak you way inside the complex on Shadow Moses island, catching guards unware and using all sorts of gadgets to get by unnoticed.
That's not to say Snake can't put up a fight, the incredible boss fights are ample proof of that. Part of the genius of this game comes from wide variety in those encounters from running after Ocelot who's bouncing bullets at you to fighting the cyborg ninja in hand to hand combat, to a sniper duel with Sniper Wolf and let's not forget the insane encounter with Psycho Mantis who truly messes with your mind.
I've played this through this game so many times, sometimes saving Meryl, other times letting her die (what can I say, I wanted the optic camouflage) and I never get tired of it. This is pure gaming gold.

#10 - Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast)
Although the 2nd game was far more polished, with a better camera and tighter controls, it lacks the charm of the original. The soundtrack was brilliant, the environments were beautiful and varied and the bosses, particularly Chaos and all of its evolutions, were awesome.
#9 - Man Vs. Food: The Cold War Edition.
#8 - "OH, YOU PERVERT!"
#7 - Bog, Crossfire, Overgrown.
