!!!

I'm literally just about to post this game myself.  Although no-one guessed my clue for it so I figured no-one else in the thread had played it xD

Great game!

Great game indeed, maybe someday I'll revisit it, it has been awhile since last time.

Sonic Adventure 1. Or Sonic Jam, if we're going technical.

Nope, although I loved both of those (keep your eyes peeled later).

I thought the clue was too obvious, but clearly not!

Was it NiGHTS, the game whos development caused so many of the snarls in Xtreme's development that ultimately killed it?

Bingo.

The lack of DooM or DooM2 and how low SoTN is on some lists is a little bit alarming.

New day so I'll addd more hints plus 26

31. Hated for its onfoot sections but I liked the multiplayer

Short but was closer to the series than the previous entry

Can this be Star Fox Adventures?

Close, that's the previous entry i'm refering to

Ah! Stupid. Star Fox Assault of course. I always mix-em up.

I was thinking about the right one I swear !

I'd answer more but I'm not good at some of these hints and the ones that I can guess they're already answered.  I also forgot to come to it for a day so there are a few pages that people already answered.

Hint for number 29 was Wild ARMs 2

The only game in the series where what's commonly referenced as a weapon is instead a group/team. Another hint. The group/team that this was called was an acronym on this game while the word on other games was a weapon type.

Hint for number 28.

To open these, you needed five or one  on this one, one on this one, and a bomb on this one.

Hint for number 27.

I've replayed this game multiple times.  Every time since I've started with the girl.  Saves me around two hours, and gets me a decent character instead of a stuck up whiny brat magician.

Hint for number 26.

Depending on your answer at the beginning of the game, choosing the first or second option, the entire game will play out completely different.  Different story, different characters, and different battles.  So by beating the game you've only completed 50% of what the game has to offer.  Will give another hint if it's not guessed by tomorrow, not now though as I feel the hint might make answering it too easy.

26 - Front Mission 3.

'Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped'

for the Sony PlayStation released in 1998.

It doesn't happen often that the third game in a numbered series is the best one. Usually, the quality gradually goed down a bit with each new entry. For 'Crash Bandicoot', that was never the case. Quality actually went up. During the time the games were developed by Naughty Dog in any case. This is due to the simple fact that with each iteration, they kept everything that was good, and improved everything that was bad without resorting to introducing gimmicky new gameplay mechanics or anything of the sort.

'Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped' is therefore the best one in the 'true' Crash-trilogy. The games, including this one, are 3D platformers, during the golden-age of the genre in the 5th Generation. And one of the finer examples at that. The Crash games nailed one of the hardest things to get right in those days; camera movement. Even in this day, there's games (even big, popular ones, but I won't point fingers here) that struggle to get a satisfactory camera.

But, of course, flawless technical aspects aren't the reason this game made it to this list, and fairly high too. It was because of the level-design and replay value. The games were clever in design, with no level alike, and featured a wide range of locales which made you keep going.  I thought the level-design on this third game was better than that of the other two, but it could also simply be because I played this one the most. Or because 1998 was such a magical year. In any case, this entry could also be viewed as an entry in the list for the whole Crash series on the first PlayStation.

#26 Hint

A certain cheat would give the player a choice of two wildly different things; either a mobster with a rather cliché name would give you money, or you'd get a castle!

26 - Front Mission 3.

Front Mission 3 is correct.

28 and 27 are still available.  Anfebious guessed 27 but will leave it up here to see if someone else can get.  I'll give a hint for 28.  It's a first party game.

Since no one guessed it, i'm just going to reveal 34. New hint for 30, 26 plus 25

34. "Lights Out. Guerilla radio." and many other great hits.

You can play as Spiderman

30. Cool different collectalathon though it isn't his year anymore

You are going to see a lot of eggs.

He was booted from the title in his most recent reboot

26. Tiny robots fight it out to stop criminals.

Arena fighter that sold poorly despite pretty good graphics for the time

25. The Most competitive entry in the series despite not being the most recent
