#30 - It's not a spoiler that everyone who is like you dies in this game because it's a prequel to the game where the 1 survivor is the protagonist. One of the enemy ships in this game has the same name as a fast American sports car. Prequel to the highest rated FPS.

#28 - I'm talking to someone about this game in the thread right now. This game was known to destroy controllers/skin on your hand because of the minigames which involved excessive rotating of the analog stick. Damn those N64 controller durabilities, they still worked even after the analog stick was grinded to a dust!

#30: Perfect Dark is the highest rated FPS if I'm not mistaken... So that would mean Perfect Dark Zero.

I know #28 is guessed already, but really... Only thing the clue needed was "N64 controller durability" and everyone still would've guessed Mario Party 1 .

30 - Perfect dark is tied for the best rated FPS, but not the one I'm referencing.

Mmmm.

Without looking, then it's gotta be Halo, the original one. No way one of the CoD's or Battlefields or something is tied for highest FPS... Or GoldenEye, but that one doesn't have prequels. So probably Halo. But I don't know which one is a prequel, having only briefly played the first game. The others are numbered, so is Halo Wars a prequel?

Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction.

Congratulations.  Good job :)

28. Batman: Arkham City
PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U (2011)
Rocksteady Studios

By the time Batman: Arkham City came out, Rocksteady Studios had already made a name for themselves with the excellent Batman: Arkham Asylum. Just as Christopher Nolan took Batman from the confines of its comic book trappings to create an amazing movie series, Rocksteady did the same thing for the caped crusader in the world of video games. And just as Nolan's second film "The Dark Knight" took Batman to the next level, so did Rocksteady's Arkham City. City upped the ante on every level, with a more open "Zelda-esque" design (as opposed to the confined Metroid inspiried Asylum), implementation of Batman's greatest foes, a fantastic story not confined to the world of comics (allowing RockSteady to forge their own Batman destiny), and one of the best climaxes I've ever experienced in gaming. All this pieced together by fantastic gameplay that really nails the feel of how it would be to be the dark knight himself (the added grapple boost is a brilliant addition to Batman's arsenal). Although Origins was a great game, I cannot wait to see what the ramifications of City have for Batman and the city of Gotham. Hopefully we wont have to wait long to find out.

Hint for #27:

They thought they could rule with their powerful minds, but in this new land... the darkness rises.

32 - The second entry in a series based on each level being from a different time period. Fans have been clammoring for an HD sequel.

30 - This entry in the series is the favorite of many and was the first to feature grappling and projectile deflection with the main weapon.  ITS NOT LINK TO THE PAST.  I have that way higher in list

32 was Timesplitters 2

30 was Super Castlevania 4.

New Clues:

27 - Best basketball game ever.

26 - I'm sweating like a hooker in church!

You took a hooker to church?

#27: I don't do basketball, sorry

#26: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (It's from an exchange between Sully and Drake in Borneo)

30 - Batman - Arkham Asylum

Batman Arkham Asylum was a game that delivered and I was pleasantly surprised. It has one of the best gameplay mechanics in its genre and re-introduced me to the genre after a short break. I'm glad this was the game I picked up. This game has much to offer, it has nice plot and villains, really good setting and an enjoyable soundtrack. The game really brought out what it wanted with all these points. The one thing it lacked was enemy variety, but I can't blame them, because in a game like this, there is not much to do with them. Hopefully the 4th iteration will be an excellent game and capture me again just like this one did.
