That is a really great idea!  Are you a fan of Twilight Zone?  Sounds like something fromthe Twilight Zone.

I think part of the hate is because it's a new IP - one of the few availible at launch.  And many don't want it to succeed. 



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

if someone really would say that ryse ist the best videogame ever then:

a) i would ask him/her if he/she just started gaming or played games like angry birds so far

and if not

b) i would seriously pity his/her gamingtaste and low gamingstandards

Not likely to be Best Ever material. I think if it gets beyond "Interesting" it will have a sequel.

Ryse looks great to me. Certainly one of the games I'll be looking at once XBONE is down to £199 in a couple of years.

i would be surprised if its lower than 80 or higher than 90, im a PS fan and ill admit it looks good (i would buy/be interested in it if was on the PS console) and the setting/timeperiod/spartans hasnt really been done before the only thing i dont like is that crytec is behind it i just cant see the AI, story, gameplay being impressive

None of those reasons are why Ryse gets critism.

Theres been several previews stating that the gameplay is tedious and boring. Every piece of footage released on the game shows different environments with the exact same combat..same weapon...same kills...same combos etc.

The cause for concern is real...none of those issues you mentioned is whats causing the concern.

Now none of this means the game will be bad though..it very well might be a case where we havent seen 90% of the game and the variety and depth it has to offer in gameplay.

 

I think you didn't follow GAF and VGC threads right from the beginning. Even in this thread people are just judging the game because of Crytek. Don't try to make a good argumentation and say that everyone else does, too, because that's wrong.

Yeah because GAF and VGC = all the gamers on the net. What a stupid argument. Get you head out the fanboy wars ass.
