I heard the only reason the button prompts were in the E3 demo was to show it was actually a game and not a full pre-rendered cutscene. Seeing as how there Is no HUD.

| Panama said: Barely anyone is hating on DR3 and Forza 5 outside of F5 having less content than F4, so maybe we should be open to the fact that it really isn't a good action game. Also keep in mind the argument that people only hate it because its XBOne exclusive also works both ways. |
TONS of people are hating on DR3 and Forza 5. They say DR3 is mediocre because it's not 1080p 60fps and its just another zombie game. They say Forza 5 is bad just because it doesn't go into night.
As of late with the games that had the potential of hitting 99 with a lot of hype surrounding them such as The Last Of Us and GTA V always have one or two reviewers who give the games absurdely low score just to garner trafficking to their site. This of course affects the Metascore quite sicnificantly. This would have never happend back in the days of Ocarina of time etc.

Not impossible, just highly unlikely. It would have to be a game beloved by everyone, without any significant technical, artistic, or design issues.
Right now, I think Ocarina of Time is the only title with such a score, and, in my opinion, the only title worthy of such a score.
What if Knack was the best Game ever?
What if Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo came out tomorrow and said that they'll collaborate to release the XstationU?
What if we woke up tomorrow and could fly?
Really the game probably isn't as bad as some people want you to believe, but where there's smoke there's fire, a game doesn't get that many mixed/bad impressions/previews if it's a masterpiece.

I agree! Ocarina of time or Super Mario Galaxy deserve that spot! It was hyperbole from my part though, 99 for Ryse seems unilkely and many people already hate it... even though many of those people didn't even play it!

I don't know how good the game will be, but the way ms handled the situation was terrible. The whole e3 fiasco then the gamescom trailer, they should have presented the game better. Also they didn't really show us much about characters/story which is why people think it will be you're stereotypical overthetop game.

Ryse has several problems which make people hate on it: - former kinect-game -> doomed - Crytek -> Bad games, "good" graphics (they are not ND) - Xbox One exclusive -> Game has to be bad, Xbox only has Halo and Gears, both not releasing at launch - They showed QTE on E3 -> People said QTE fest and everyone accepted this opinion |
I'm not sure why you mentioned ND for point two. But the fact that it is a Crytek game can't be ignored.
