Forums - Sony - Check Out Need For Speed Rivals Running on the PS4

A new game-play trailer has been released for the upcoming racing game Need For Speed Rivals. This trailer is especially noteworthy because it shows HD game-play of the PS4 version of the title.

Although the trailer is less than two minutes long, it crams in a good amount of game-play. I really like what I’m seeing here. The environments and cars look wonderful, and the game-play seems very fast and exciting. Hopefully this title can help keep PS4 players busy until Driveclub releases.

Check out the video below.

Holy jalapeño cats, that driver is worse than I am. I did get a Burnout Paradise vibe, though, which is nice.

Still, I can't help but hear this little voice in my head whispering, "it's EA, they'll ruin it somehow."

This game looks really good, I used to like this franchise a lot when I was younger but I stopped buying them after NFS Carbon (but sometimes I still play the old ones, my favorite is Hot Pursuit 2)

Looks fun, glad it's going to be 1080p this time. Going top speed in HP and MW had me straining trying to make out the road and oncoming traffic in the blurry distance. Please bring back the turbo boost sound effect from HP, best sound effect ever.
It would be nice if they went back to different world circuits. Having the cops yell at me in German and French never got old in the original. Instead of Redview country, do a tri border area next, eg Swiss, Italy, France in the Alps. Generic fictional USA is getting a bit stale.

"you have been caught by the cops. Do you want to bribe them with a micro-transaction?"

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Been there done that.

Another need for speed, I guess.
