BS, you're not "required" to buy anything, it's additional workouts. Which is the equiv of DLC for a game. Are you required to buy that? no.

I would like to point out cable companies. You pay for cable, and then some channels are extra. That's a "subscripion within a subscription" As is paying for MMO's on consoles.

The question is why are you so interested in a product that you are so disinterested in? How about spreading info about a product you do care about instead of focusing on the console wars.

Hell i cant imagine what your posts are like but knowing your posting style i can imagine it was more of the same.

I understand that you would like to pay for XBLive only then pay per app instead of XBLive+FitnessPass+per app it's be cheaper for sure yes.

You need to understand though that the way you talk is like everytime you want something you have to pay for XBLive with every purchase. To me once I have Live I have access to everything they offer through Live that means, every apps+multiplayer+skype etc etc...

We don't know if this fitness pass will give us something in exchange of the fees. Maybe one fitness access every week, mini games, boards, forums, chats etc it could be anything (hoping they give something)

I suggest we wait and see as everything will be free the first year so I don't see a problem for now. If people don't renew their subscription next year MS will act accordingly.

Its really the equivilant of and MMO. If I'm paying a subscription already, why do I need ot purchase a seperate expansion pack? It's my opinion that the whole reason for having a subscription to something is that you will continue to get content throughout its lifetime. I don't agree with it there and definitely not here where there are several pay walls you have to get through to even USE this service. I find that ludicrous.

I assumed based on your comment you were providing factual information, but upon further reading I'm not so sure.

From the reading for the web site, you get the five trainers for free as a part of the sub to Xbox Fitness.  This doesn't stop after December 2014.  Additional content and possibly trainers may become available later on that you can purchase.  So if a trainer you like comes out with new content, you can purchase it if you want but it isn't availble as a part of the base subscription.  Essentially DLC.

no its not like buying a game with dlc. a game is not a subscription.
its like having to buy all the content on netflix even though youre already paying for both live and netflix.

this is the payperview model. cable subscription, sports subscription, and then still have to order pay per voew for the big fights. guess how well payperview is doing? like i said to jay, the proper response shpuld not be "seek an alternative then if u dont like it". thats exactly what killed ppv.

Think of it as an exercise version of Netflix. The additional content are premium rentals.

The Gold paywall for paying services has always seemed dumb to me. Never understood the logic behind it. It's like paying for other people's service just to get what you paid for. Think of it as Obamacare.
