I think Forza 4 is native 1080p 60fps on Xbox360 and features more tracks and more cars.
Gt5 and 6 are both native 1080p 60fps on the ps3 and features more tracks aand a hell lot more cars.(although those standard cars in gt5...egh)

Forza 4 is 720p60fps... GT5 is 1080p60fps but 1280x1080... GT6 is 1080p60fps but 1440x1080.

That's what we've all been saying, 1080P/Full HD is really cool.

Another article...

Forza 5 wouldn't have been 1080p, 60fps without access to Xbox One's cloud

http://www.oxm.co.uk/65749/forza-5-wouldnt-have-been-1080p-60fps-without-access-to-xbox-ones-cloud/

MS basicly say that they wouldn't reach 1080p60fps without the power of the cloud...

So now I expect to play the game in 720p60fps when offline lol

They didn't have any ideia of what they are talking about.

What should we make of it if the resolution was still 1080P while playing offline?

That's the point... if the game continues 1080p offline the Cloud is useless and they are just saying bullshit again.

Or

MS can call me a bullshiter showing the Forza 5 drops the resolution or framrate when played offline

Perhaps MS should avoid mentioning resolutions until the first batch of games has been released? I don't see how they could benefit anything from it at this point.

Forza Motorsport 5 owes its 1080p visuals and 60 frames a second performance to Microsoft's furnishing Turn 10 with easy access to scalable servers, creative director Dan Greenawalt has told OXM. The ability to tap into Xbox Live Compute has allowed the developer to lavish more time and resources on the game's visuals and complex physics systems; without this advantage, it would have "struggled" to achieve Forza 5's final resolution.

You didn't read all the article, no?

"So, would [cloud AI] have been possible last generation? Sure. And last generation we could have done 1080p, 60fps. But we wouldn't have been able to do that and the physics we did in Forza 4. So Forza 4 was 720p and 60fps, with the physics we had. Now we're doing things in the physics that requires so much more computational power, we would have struggled to be 720p, 60fps."

He is saying if they won't to some physics in cloud the game would have struggled to be 720p, 60fps.

So offline = 720p@60fps.

yeah unless the cloud is actually not doing anything.
