What resolution/fps do you want out of Dead Rising 4 Xbox1?

480p 60 fps 35 51.47%

600p 45 fps 3 4.41%

720p 30 fps 29 42.65%

Total:67

So then, you assume x1 is maxed out already? Or incapable of higher resolutions without sacrificing FPS?
And also, you base this on launch titles?

If Capcom follows what it did last gen then DR4 will be multiplat, and my guess would be 720p/30fps for XBone and 1080p/60fps PS4

It will be 1080p @ 30 FPS.

Halo 5 will be 1080p @ 30fps.

But just like Battlefield 4, it really wont make any real difference. Id rather framerate over res. Look at the shambles that is COD Ghosts on PS4.

900p vs 1080p is actually a pretty significant of a difference.

I said not any real difference. 360 hardware upscaler was amazing. Ive heard The Ones is even better. And as Ive actually played DR3 if the devs are telling me what I played was 720p and 30fps then cool. Because DR3 looks friggin amazing with 100's of zombies onscreen. It played and looked very impressive. Its no Ryse or Forza 5, but considering what was being displayed it looked pretty phenominal actually noe I think back. Even the lighitng looked awesome. Also tere was alot of seperate light sources at once.

But you're still wrong, as there IS a real difference. Doesn't matter what extra is applied to that. It's a mathematical contrast that can't be understated. All the rest of what you posted is irrelevant. I'm not comparing opinions of what one think looks better.

There is a difference. But not enough for me and my mates to tell. Sure if we scrutinised my TV I'm sure we would notice. But just playing games? Nah weve never really noticed. I remeber when we played UC2 for the first time. Internet made it sound way better than Gears 2 graphics. We couldnt see it. They looked as good as each other.

Now Halo 4 visulas vs Reach. Thats a difference we all saw.

Your comparisons, again, have nothing to do with the mathematical differences of the two resolutions. You're talking opinion, I'm speaking fact.

Who cares about the fact of Resolution?

If I can see a benefit then awesome. If I cant then awesome.

Most people cant see a difference. And could only really tell anything if you crutinize them side by side. Now apart from sad internet fanboys who will hook up a PS4 and Xbox One side by side just to see if 1080p native and stuttering framerates in Ghosts looks as good as 720p native and smooth framerates?

Yeah as I thought. Noone.

So as I said in my original comment, Theres no real difference. If my eye cant percieve a difference who gives a sheeit. Perception is all that matters.

http://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/720p-vs-1080p-can-you-tell-the-difference-between-hdtv-resolutions/

"Generally speaking, if you sit more than 10 feet away from your TV, and your display isn’t bigger than 50 inches diagonally, you won’t be able to tell the difference between 720 and 1080."

So unless you have a small TV, and sit very far away you can easily distinguish a difference. This chart you'd have to sit 8 feet away from a 1080p 40" TV to NOT see a difference.

And if you're dropping $500 on an XBO, I find it hard to believe you're gaming on a small TV. So the only option remaining is that you are sitting very far away. IF this isn't the case you're lying to yourself about the difference between 720p and 1080p.

was going to give my opinion but then i read the poll and realized it's just "one of those threads" where i rather don't like to participate in. well, now i did...

Do you see the difference between AC IV on PS3 and on PS4 when they are not side by side?

No? Of course you do.

Do you see the difference between XO and PS4?

No? Of course you do.

You may fool yourself into responding "no" for both questions, but it's just that. Fooling yourself. It's as if you were saying "if I close my eyes I'm invisible! I can't see myself!". Well, you're not. The fact that playing an inferior version of a game you are not aware that another version is better doesn't make the two versions equal.

And the difference between 1080p, upscaled 720p and especially regular 720p is easily noticeable, especially on a big screen.

You may obviously remain in denial, but it won't change the fact that going with XO you will pay extra to play inferior versions of your games. You will still get your fun and good graphics, but don't lie to yourself that PS4 gamers get identical versions of your games. Their games will look better. In fact, if you don't believe it - get a PC and play a game in two different resolutions and see for yourself if you really can't see any difference.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

unh?

Firstly yes I see a difference between AC4. But that has noting to do with resolution. LOL.

And yes I see a difference between PS4 and XBO so far. So far Ryse and Forza 5 to me look visually better  than any PS4 game.

I still miss your point as to what your comment has to do with resolution?

My point still stands.
